Tactical First Aid

Airway, Breathing, and Circulation (ABCs):
Ensure a clear airway, assess breathing (rate, depth, and effort), and identify and control any major bleeding.
Fluid Resuscitation:
Rapid intravenous fluids are administered to address hypovolemic shock, but caution is needed to avoid hypertension, which can worsen blood loss.
Stabilization:
Consider a combination of intravenous and intraosseous routes for fluid resuscitation, along with blood products and clotting factors if needed.
Imaging:
X-rays and CT scans may be used to identify bullet location, assess the extent of damage, and guide surgical management.
Monitoring:
Vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation, are closely monitored.
